1) Christmas at Bost Grist Mill - bring in the Christmas season with us the first three weeks in December. The mill will be decorated for Christmas with lights, greenery, and special added touches for the holidays. Light refreshments will be served. Come sample our product lines from Coopers Mill, and Willow Creek Mill. (No admission charge and please see our flyer page for more details for weekend times.)
2) Ice Cream Sunday at the Mill - from June 5, 2011 - October 2, 2011; between hours of 1-5 p.m.; we will be open for the public to visit and see the mill. Come enjoy a cone of Breyers Ice Cream on our front porch. Bring a picnic and sit under our huge shade trees, relax and enjoy your Sunday with us. (No admission charge.)
3)Touch of Yesterday - this annual event occurs the first weekend of every October and is a favorite of the community. This event allows the public to visit numerous vendors and displays that demonstrate how life was lived during the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. There is always live entertainment, food, fun and games for the whole family to enjoy. (Date for 2011 will be October 1st - 2nd)
4) Civil War Re-enactment - the Bost Grist Mill will be hosting their fifth year for the "Battle of Bost Grist Mill" on September 10th and 11th, 2011. This event will allow the public to visit how Southern and Northern soldiers lived during encampent, what roles the soldier played prior to and during battle, soldier and civilian life, and witness an actual battle between the South and North. We would like to thank all of public who have visted with us in the past, our re-enactors who have put on a wonderful show for the public and the many volunteers who made past Civil War Re-enactments a huge success.
